True story.
Fox has all-but-cancelled Dollhouse, setting the 12th episode to be the Series Finale (with a 13th produced but yet to air).
I have a very hard time believing that, if you take into account DVR numbers for one week after air date, that Fox still wouldn’t have the ratings to keep this show going.
I really don’t get it. Shows like Hole in the Wall and The Osbournes Reloaded get produced, yet intelligent dramas like Dollhouse get the shaft. (Dollhouse didn’t even have a chance in live ratings, it was in the Friday Night Death Slot, when most of its primary demographic were out.)
I’m very afraid for Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. I can only hope they’re keeping it a little longer, hoping for a bump from Terminator Salvation.
