This is one of my favorite Penny-Arcade strips of all time.
You never fought in the console wars.

I fought in the console wars. I had a Sega Genesis. We had a headphone jack on the console. We had Blast Processing. We did what Nintendon’t. We had Sega Channel. We weren’t bound to cartridges - we had CD-quality audio and FMV.
I was proud of Sega, they truly blazed the trail of innovation in the video game industry, with Nintendo (and later, Sony) following behind. I always felt like an also-ran, though, compared to my friends with a Super Nintendo. Looking back now, I feel like we were the Browncoats of the war.
