This Seems Impossible
I am, at this very moment, holding a 1.5 terabyte hard drive.
That’s an impossible number to me. 1.5 terabytes. 1500 gigabytes.
That means that this hard drive, weighing just a few pounds, can store and retrieve over 12,000,000,000,000 (twelve trillion) ones and zeros. Twelve trillion. What are there twelve trillion of in the world? That’s a lot of ones and zeros.
My Current Dillemma
Currently, the computer attached to my television is huge, loud, and power-hungry. It’s a full-tower computer with 3 or 4 fans in it and a Core 2 Duo processor with a 450W power supply. I’m getting pretty tired of it sitting all the way to the side of my HT setup and blowing so much hot air. I’ve convinced myself that the way to go is a Mini-ITX setup.
